John's super supreme Chicken Pesto Pasta to go sub 9hrs
Ingredients: Chicken, basil pesto, green peppers (capsicums), mushrooms, onion, penne pasta, lite sour cream. DON'T skimp and save on products or it won't taste so good. Go for organic chicken, best pesto in NZ is genoese brand
Quantity depends on how many you are cooking for
1. Cut up chicken and cook in fry pan (minimize oil) - remove
2. Get pasta cooking in water separately
3. Slice and fry mushrooms - drain juice and remove
4. Slice and fry onions and peppers until soft - add back mushrooms and chicken.
5. Add generous amount of pesto and mix (lower heat right down)add in lite sour cream (optional)
6. Drain pasta and remove as much excess water as possible then add to pesto mix
7. Leave on very low heat for a few minutes stirring a few times to let flavors mix
8. Add salt when serving
9. EAT
Popeye's Killer Meal (10mins)
- Heat some spinache
- When it starts to cook, add couscous (if not available, you'll need to take rice, which needs to cook first)
- add a can of tuna or soy for vegetarians
- add some salt, pepper and curry
done...
It's not precisely Gourmet food, but it tastes good and is really quick to make.
Porno's Moroccan Beef and Couscous
1. 500g lean beef cut into strips and cooked in hot wok - put aside for the mo.
2. One onion (cut into wedges) and cook until soft.
3. Add 1 tsp garlic, 1/2 tsp chopped red chilli, 1 tsp cumin (not what you think Bevo), 1/4 tsp turmeric to the onion and cook for 30secs
4. Add 1 can (400g) tomatoes and 1 cup beef stock and bring to the boil
5. Add 2 zuchinnis, 4 silverbeet leaves, 1/2 cup sultanas (or go nuts on spinach or any green vege!) and simmer for 5 mins stirring occassionally
6. Add the beef back to the morrocan mixture
7. Cook de couscous like it tell you to

8. Leave the washing up to other half and go for bike ride

Ach ja, das Turbo Rezept (5-8min):
1. Eisbergsalat schnibbeln und waschen
2. Couscous kochen, vom Herd nehmen und Thunfisch reinschmeißen
3. Balsamico, Olivenöl, Pfeffer, Salz Dressing auf den Salat
4. die warme Pampe aus 2. drauf, umrühren, fertig
Auch einfach und schnell:
1. Italienische Gemüsepfanne vom Plus (Biobio, schön lecker) brutzeln
2. Couscous mit in die Pfanne
fertig.
