Signature hosts Rapha & Timothy Everest, February 24
Rapha and Signature Cycles are proud to announce a unique collaboration, the result of which is a genuine first: a bespoke three-piece suit designed specifically for the gentleman city cyclist. For the past 12 months, Rapha has been working with Timothy Everest, the renowned Savile Row tailor, to develop a suit that is at home both on the bike and in the boardroom. Comprising a jacket, waistcoat and trousers or plus fours (shorts of similar length to the Rapha Fixed Shorts), the finished suit offers elegance, thoughtful touches and luxury finishing, the trademarks that have helped establish Timothy as one of London's leading fine tailors.
AVAILABILITY
An entirely bespoke product, the suit is not for widespread distribution. Rapha would therefore like to offer you the chance to own something entirely personal and as custom fitted as your favorite bike. Timothy will be in NYC on Tuesday, February 24th. Due to demands on his time he will only be available for fittings with five Rapha customers.
The cost for the suit will be $3500 and a deposit at time of the fitting with Timothy is required.
LOCATION
The fittings will be held at Signature Cycles Manhattan showroom (80 West End Ave., Second Floor, 64th St. and West End Ave.) on Tuesday, February 24th. Signature is a leader in custom, high-end cycles and a premier partner for Rapha in the US. Each appointment will take approximately 90 minutes (remember, there are only five fittings available) so please respond quickly.

"The way to really find out about Neanderthals, of course, is to bring one back to life, and far from being a sci-fi notion, that is now theoretically possible. Scientists are already talking about using the Neanderthal genome, reconstructed recently in Germany, to reprogram a chimpanzee embryo and give birth to a sort of neo-Neanderthal. Presumably you could also do this with a human embryo, but as is so often the case, the chimp idea dodges a lot of ethical issues.
