Was ich aber top an der Fenix finde ist Wlan. Das update habe ich gestern direkt über Wlan runtergeladen und dann wurde es auch sofort installiert. Alles innerhalb von 3 min inkl. Reboot erledigt. Kein Kabel, kein unnötiges Aufladen.

Ja, das liegt am Funktionsprinzip von GPS und dessen genereller Ungenauigkeit. Auch unter perfekten Bedingungen gib GPS keine genaue Position sondern nur einzelne Punkte mit einer Abweichung von etwa 3-5 Meter in jede Richtung.
Die Uhren müssen das ganze deshalb mit Glättungs-Algorithmen so filtern dass aus all den Messungen irgendwelche Mittelwerte gebildet werden. In den ersten Versionen der Fenix Software waren dies Glättungen wohl etwas zu stark und deshalb wurden auch die Kurven abgeschnitten.
Bei langsamer Bewegung kann die Uhr nur schlecht unterscheiden ob du einfach dauernd hin und her schwankst oder ob alles nur GPS Abweichungen sind.
Je schneller du fährst, desto kleiner werden die Fehler im Verhältnis zur tatsächlich zurückgelegten Strecke.
Eine neue Version ist verfügbar. Scheint als hätte sie eine Menge kleiner Wünsche erfüllt die man in letzter Zeit in den Foren aufgeschnappt hat.

Cool! Sehr gutes Update. Mal schauen, ob das alles auch so funktioniert
Jetzt fehlt nur noch, dass der Aktivitätstracker ordentlich arbeitet (das konnte die V800 um Welten besser) und die Uhr ist ein Traum!
Ja, dazu gabs gestern mal eine kurze Diskussion im 920er Thread. Den 920 gibts jetzt im Bundle mit dem neuen Pulsgurt. Ich denke in Zukunft wird es auch Bundles mit der Fenix geben.
Der normale HRM Run ist ja auch schon genug teuer, da ist der Aufpreis dann nicht mehr so massiv
