Whoa, jetzt muss ich mal wieder angeben.
Ich wollte schon immer mal von Nike gesponsort werden, vor allem ohne zu betteln. Nicht dass ich das noch braeuchte, aber
"As you know, CPTC has a special contract with Nike that gives many of our top racers shoes and other great gear!
But as with all contracts, there are strings attached. Nike wants us to put together the best elite team for each NYRR scoring race, USA Championships and other prestigious races.
Your performance for CPTC over the past year has earned you a spot on the new Nike List. In order for you to confirm your acceptance you need to
1) Agree to the following:
Wearing your Nike shoes and Nike CPTC uniform at all races
Registering as "Nike Central Park TC" or "Nike CPTC" at all races
Wearing your Nike shoes and gear at all practices.
Racing in Team Races including NYRR scoring races or USA Championships and providing the coaches with information of your racing schedule.*
Must be up to date with your 2008 CPTC dues.
Pick up Nike gear promptly from Nike or me.
Being Healthy**.
*This does not mean you need to run every scoring race. In fact, we don't want you to run every scoring race! The race has to fit into your goals and racing schedule. However, a few athletes have only run in one road race or one championship in the past six months and that does not meet the obligations of the contract.
**If you are seriously injured right now, please let us know so we can give one of your teammates the opportunity to receive Nike shoes & gear now and we'll put you on the list next fall when you're healthy!
