Könnt Ihr mal mit dieser Propaganda aufhören oder eine geschlossene Wales-Liebhabergruppe bilden?
Das nervt!
Dieses ewige Geschwafel von Krümel&Konsorten hat beinahe meine minutiös ausgeklügelte Lebensplanung kaputt gemacht - aber Dank Ironman bleib' ich auf dem rechten Weg (also das jetzt bitte von mir als Glatze aus Dresden nicht missverstehen, ist rein sportlich gemeint...).
Und JA, ich hatte Ironman angeschrieben, ob es nicht doch noch die Möglichkeit für eine Spätanmeldung in Tenby gäbe...

I was 2013 and 2014 in Tenby (and Bolton) for the Ironman-Races – great experience!
This year I thought I cannot join the race, because I will use my slot-qualification from Tenby 2014 to race this October in Kona, Hawaii.
But after that Long hot summer I miss the Wales climate like hell!
May I kindly ask you to check, if there is still a chance for a late entry?
Maybe some registered UK-athletes did step back from their application and their slot is available again?
Can you please check and let me know, if there is still a little chance to apply for one of the Tenby race slots this September?

Ich glaub, ich hab' dieses Jahr einfach zu viel alkoholfreies Bier gesoffen, kaum ist die Wampe weg, mutiere ich mental zum Vabrousek für Arme!
Das müssen die Nebenwirkungen sein, so umnachtet war ich doch sonst nie?!
Und zum Glück ist Tenby (völlig zu recht) komplett ausgebucht - ich wünsch' allen Sportlern eine geile Zeit in Wales, haut rein!

Sei froh Flachy, dass es dir Ironman so schwer (und teuer) macht, in Wales zu starten. Du willst doch nicht auf Raelert und Beraneks Spuren wandeln in Kona und den Vorteil der frühen, entspannten Quali mit einem verschleißenden Last-Minute-Rennen aufgeben?
(Selbst bei dem von dir zitierten Vabrousek kann ich mich an kein wirklich ordentliches Kona-Rennen erinnern.)

Hatte mich mal da durchgeklickt, aber außer wenig günstigen Unterkünften war da nichts zu holen. Über einen Preis für die Wettkampfteilnahme bin ich nicht gestolpert, obwohl es mich interessiert hätte, welchen Zuschlag die draufpacken.

General entry into IRONMAN Wales 2015 is sold out! However, Nirvana Europe has 50 race entry slots available for IRONMAN Wales 2015.
In order to secure your race entry, we require a non-refundable deposit of £150/€190.00 per entry. This can be paid by credit card, debit card or by bank transfer (€ or £).
In the weeks after paying your deposit, you will then receive a unique email invitation from IRONMAN, so that you can sign up and pay IRONMAN directly for the race. The cost of entry is £445.00 + 6% Active.com registration fee. In receiving your deposit, we 100% guarantee you a starting place in Wales.
The £150/€190.00 deposit paid to Nirvana Europe, is then used as your first payment against an accommodation booking with us. This booking must be for 2 nights or more at one of our accommodation Options...
Selbst ich, der bisher jedes Jahr in Wales war trauert aufgrund der Nichtteilnahme der Tenby-Time hinterher aber auf die Idee doch zu starten bin ich nicht gekommen.
Mach es doch wie ich und quatsch die anderen ins Verderben
