Im KPR hat Weiss heut 2000 Punkte für den Sieg bekommen.

Bei den Agegroupern hingegen gibts wohl 5000 Punkte für den Altersklassensieg, und dann pro Minute, die man hinter dem Sieger ins Ziel kommt ~12 Punkte weniger.

In the 2013 global ranking system, points are assigned based on the race distance.

For an IRONMAN (full-distance triathlon) the total available points are 5,000. For an IRONMAN 70.3 (half-distance triathlon), the total available points are 3,500. Points are calculated based on the athlete’s race finish time behind the first finisher in his/her age group. Points continue to drop as the race time increases, until the points reach a "point floor," at which point they don’t drop any further.

There is a value to the minutes and seconds in each race distance. In an IRONMAN, the points diminish at a rate of approximately 12 points per minute; in an IRONMAN 70.3 they diminish by approximately 18 points per minute.

Example: If you win your age group in IRONMAN, you are awarded 5,000 points. If you finish in second place a minute behind the leader, your points are 4,988.
