Na, es wird langsam klarer, wie der WTC-Armstrong-Deal gestrickt ist. Scheint mit, die KPR Punkte sind bloß Alibi, wenn man liest, was der Lanze Manager so von sich gibt:

"Bill Stapleton, Armstrong’s business agent, said the deal required little negotiating. “We decided to do it through the foundation instead of doing some massive appearance fee, which I imagine they’d be willing to pay,” Stapleton said."

Also ist die WTC-Spende an Livestrong wirklich nen getarntes Antrittsgeld für Lance. Wenn das der Hintergrund ist, kann ich mir schlecht vorstellen, dass er nicht in Kona als Pro startet, egal wie das punktemäßig ausgeht. Ist ja eher im Interesse der WTC (PR) als in Lances Interesse, dass er startet...
