I haven't run CIM yet, but from what I hear the course is a lot more rolling than you'd expect based on the elevation charts. Also, it seems like a lot of people go into it thinking the elevation loss is going to lead them to a huge pr, and then they blow up midway through because they didn't get their legs ready for a lot of downhills in training. So, don't expect the course alone to magically lead you to a monster pr."
