Das schreibt einer bei slowtwitch dazu:

The adapter plate that was used works with a sort of clamping wedge system like as the wedge works to hold a seatpost on your bike. The mono riser is hollow so these wedges go in and when you torque the bolts they expand and should hold that plate in place. And there is another clamp on the back.
But as said, when i installed this system i already had doubts how much momentum they could take…….
I wonder if that stuff was properly tested on a bike before going to the market.
No wonder it was taken off the website immediately after the accident occurred on screen :-).
Luckily no crashes and injuries happened.
