At an unveiling ceremony the International Triathlon Union announced that the TVK Mali Triathlon Klub – Tiszaujvaros, Hungary would be the first ever Accredited ITU Triathlon Training Centre.

Although this is the first Accredited ITU Triathlon Training Centre there are other plans to develop and accredit many more sites across the world in the coming years. Tiszaujvaros, and in particular the TVK Mali Triathlon Klub, was selected to launch the training centre concept because of the success achieved at the facility in partnership with ITU in the hosting of continental and international development camps, courses and training opportunities for junior, under23 and elite triathletes over the years.... weiter
