Nachdem ich mir hier (aus meiner Sicht zurecht) Luft gemacht und Ironman in gewohnter Manier "gebasht" habe, muss ich etwas positives loswerden und meine Ursprungsaussage ein Stück weit revidieren.

Wie bereits beschrieben hatte ich eine Anfrage bezüglich eines Transfers zum Ironman Florida gestellt. Heute erhielt ist die folgende Antwort per Mail:

"Hi

Unfortunately, we won't be able to transfer your registration to Florida.
However, we can offer you a refund and then you can go ahead and register to any race you wish on your own.

In order to process your refund request, you will need to complete a form which will be sent to you on another email.
Please ensure that you click submit at the end of this form and receive a confirmation email.
Once submitted, we will pass this over to the relevant team to process but please note that this could take up to 10 weeks to be returned to you – we do hope that this will be quicker than that but just wanted to warn you.

If you decide to have a refund back to a card different than the one you originally paid with, please ensure that all your details are correct before submitting.
Please note that once you request a refund, you will no longer be eligible for any further options such as transfers, partial refunds or deferrals.
We hope this helps and hope to see you racing with us in Israel in the future.

Zeitgleich erhielt ich eine Mail mit einem Link über den ich meine Rückerstattung beantragen konnte. Ich bin gespannt ob ich wirklich 100% des Starteldes erstattet bekomme (natürlich abzüglich der Bearbeitungsgebühr).
Aber das ist wirklich mal ein sehr positives Erlebnis für mich. Somit möchte ich hier ein großes Lob loswerden und zurückrudern. Damit hätte ich wirklich nicht gerechnet.
