Raña did it on purpose. He is used to run like that since I can remember, so there s nothing new under the sun.

He told afterwards that it was a "Tribute" to the People from Madrid as the pre/after race Events were focused on him and his career. After the race they even show a Video when he started compiting (almost 20 yr ago), a signed poster from his first race, his Highlights... all very emptional and familiar. He was almost crying at the end because of that amopunt of emotional stuff as he thought at the beginning it would be not more than an "official" and aseptic Thing.
