WTC Europe has done a press-conference last saturday and official date for IM Civitavecchia (17th October) and IM 70.3 Rome (20 August) released.
Personally I think arrival of WTC in Italy can be a great push for many organizers here to kick their ass and increase race quality because many of them only try tu survive.
Also from my side this is a kick into my one for getting better and I have almost planned a 2 year development of the race. Let's see if I will can build everything I have in mind, not all depends on me and my staff.

I guess Rome date is not a great danger for elbaman or elbaman73 race, maybe I could loose some first-timer of the distance, but I could also have a greater audience of athlete with an increasing market.
The only worry I could have with Rome race is about the possible temperature around august in the city because is quite an hot city and hard to have less than 30°C in summer with high humidity. Just in case, be ready for a small furnace

I look forward to have a lot more German next year thanks to PR-work of Hyppoman
