Hi,

Hatte das gleiche Problem.
Mit ein bisschen Routine klappt Reifenwechsel ganz einfach.

Ganz wichtig der reifen muss auf einer Seite in der Felgenmitte sein.

Some tires in particular can be hard to fit to our wheel, to assist with these I have listed below the method that we use for mounting:

1. Place the first side of the tire into the rim bed, make sure that the tire bead is sitting in the center of the rim bed at the lowest possible point, if tubed you can then place the tube inside of the tire and push the valve stem through the valve stem hole.

2. Once the first side of the tire is in the rim bed with the tube tucked into the tire you can begin to mount the second side of the tire.

3. Begin mounting the second side of the tire opposite of the valve stem hole working towards the valve so that the last part to mount is directly opposite the valve stem hole.

4. Once you have the tire about 75% of the way mounted and it becomes difficult to set the tire into the rim bed go back to the opposite of the valve stem hole and pinch both sides of the tire to place the tire hook in the center of the rim bed, do this along the entire wheel working away from the valve same as mounting the tire.

5. Once you work your way back to the unmounted end of the tire use the pads of your thumbs and fingers to pinch and roll the tire up over the hook and mount the final portion of the rim.

6. If you cannot get the tire mounted with just your hands then complete steps 1-5 then use a plastic tire lever on the final portion to pop the tire up over the hook and into the rim bed.

Please make sure that if tire levers are used they are plastic, not metal to avoid damaging the carbon rim. Also, always make sure that when re-inflating you allow the rim to ‘Pop’ into place for the tire bead to set in the rim hook, this will avoid hop and tire blowouts.

A few additional tips for those really stubborn tires:

1. Before attempting to mount tire soak the tire in boiling water to expand the tire slightly, apply while still warm but not burning for a more flexible tire and easier fit, once it cools the tire will resort to correct size and position.

2. Before fitting tire apply baby/talcum powder to the circumference of the brake track to assist in slipping the tire bead over the rim hook

3. Once fitted 75% of the way place some hand soap on the remaining portion of the brake track to assist in slipping the tire bead over the rim hook.
