Was aber Wellington auf ihrer HP schreibt, grenzt ja schon an Volksverdummung:
"TeamTBB is focused on helping ‘development athletes’ who might otherwise not have the opportunity to succeed in professional triathlon. I no longer fit into their framework."

was TBB selbst verkündet:
"At the same time team management wishes to reiterate that teamtbb is a development squad that provides hope and opportunity to many young athletes and struggling pro’s that would have had no opportunity or pathway to being able to become an earning pro athlete. Teamtbb provides physical, psychological and mechanical information to all of its athletes and more important its current athletes are the role models to the rookie and development athletes.
We view the current situation that is causing so much media interest as a very positive thing for teamtbb. We see it as proof of what teamtbb is about and has managed to achieve in such short time.
Chrissie Wellington was a not a professional athlete when she started with teamtbb and she was provided with support, knowledge and coaching to be now viewed as a triathlon great. One could not argue that she is no longer a development athlete.
Hillary Biscay was a struggling pro that by her own admission has tried every program and was earning no money from prize pools until she linked up with teamtbb.
While Chrissie Wellington is an exception, we view Hillary Biscay as our pin-up of what teamtbb is about. Through her own hard work and our support she has been able to not only live her dream, but earn her dream results."
Übrigens: "doc" im TBB-Forum ist wohl Brett Sutton!
