McCormack out
Our news from the course is starting to flow through once again and the word is that 2007 Ford Ironman World Champion Chris McCormack has dropped out of the race just after the half way point on the bike |
McKenzie flying
Luke McKenzie has put the foot down and now has a ten minute lead after 135km, with Markus Fachbach in second place. Both men are looking particularly good right now - local time 11am - with McKenzie in particular really taking the race by the scruff of the neck in increasingly hot and humid conditions |
