Sind denn Großveranstaltungen nicht bis zum 24.10 untersagt?

Die Anmeldung ist noch offen, ich überlege in der Tat diese Woche zu melden.

Wie sind eure Meinungen dazu? Wie gehen die Holländer mit Corona um? Die Polen und Estland haben es ja am WE vorgemacht, dass es klappen kann.

Wäre halt blöd, jetzt zu melden und in zwei Wochen vlt doch eine Absage zu bekommen.

Ich vermute mal ganz stark dass es stattfinden wird. Die 70.3 Veranstaltungen vergangenes Wochenende liefen gut und Corona ist in Holland eh keine großes Thema. Habe mich letzte Woche angemeldet und vom Gefühl her bin ich guter Dinge. Am kommenden Wochenende laufe ich einen Volkslauf der offiziell stattfindet. Das zeigt uns doch wo ein Wille ist da ist auch ein Weg. F... Corona!

When we postponed the IRONMAN 70.3 Westfriesland, 5150 Westfriesland, 4:18:4 Westfriesland triathlons, IRONKIDS and NightRun from their original dates of June 26 - 28 to October 2 - 4, 2020, we felt very confident we would still be able to deliver an exceptional event weekend as planned.

In meetings leading up to the event, West-Friesland’s safety and health authorities were satisfied that IRONMAN’s proposed health and safety measures were well designed, and that participants, staff and the wider public would have been sufficiently protected from potential COVID-19 transmission. However, following further discussions between and direction from the mayors representing the region of West-Friesland yesterday, we regret to share that the events cannot take place in 2020 as planned and will now return on June 25 - 27, 2021.

Echt blöd aber ich habe befürchtet das es so kommt

Ach Mist, jetzt hatte ich mich drauf gefreut. Zum Glück wollte ich erst morgen früh melden. Jetzt brauch ich noch eine Alternative um mit der tollen Form noch was anfangen zu können. Marakech ist ja auch abgesagt.
