Ironman Vichy 2021
 

Hab mich gestern für 22. August in Vichy angemeldet, meine erste Langdistanz.
Hab in den anderen Threads gesehen, dass die Radstrecke lang und hart ist, dafür das laufen etwas kürzer. Das kommt mir entgegen, weil Laufen doch mit Abstand meine schwächste Disziplin ist.
Hat jemand Tipps für Unterkünfte?

Ist hier sonst keiner in Vichy dabei?

Da es meine erste Teilnahme an nem offiziellen Ironman Rennen ist, bin ich grade darüber gestolpert:

"The purchase of the competition pass does not replace the presentation of the medical certificate at the registration (less than one year old from the day of the event and marked "no contraindication to the practice of sport in competition, or the discipline concerned in competition"). Without presentation of the certificate, you will not receive your bib. Don't forget your medical certificate !
If you are licenseed from an affiliated federation (ITU), you are exempt from the presentation of a medical certificate, you will be asked to bring your license on the day of the event, it will be controlled by the organizer."

Das muss man sich tatsächlich von nem Doc organisieren für so ein Event? Könnt Ihr mir das kurz bestätigen bitte?

Wenn du nur eine Tageslizenz hast, dann brauchst du ein Attest vom Arzt.

Ist nicht nur in Frankreich so mit dem Attest, sondern auch in Italien, wenn man mit Tageslizenz startet.

Ist in Frankreich so, keine Sache der IM Firma, lange vor Covid, auch für Marathon etc. , holte man sich da für ein Jahr und ist gut - frz. (!) Formular oft bei grösseren Sachen auf der Veranstalterseite

Ich lese das aber schon richtig, dass wenn ich einen DTU-Startpass habe ich keins brauche oder? :Gruebeln:
