Ein "Aaron" aus den USA (?) sucht Trainingspartner.

Die Frage war von Herbert an mich. Keine Ahnung, was er damit meinte, denn er kennt mich. Ich ging davon aus, dass er meinen Nick hier kennt. Wohl aber nicht.
Aaron hat die Frage dann auf sich bezogen.
"Dude" heisst eigentlich "Kerl", "Typ", wird aber anscheinend in Ausnahmefaellen auch als "Dandy" benuetzt. Daher meine Reaktion.

Ob er gut aussieht? Fragen kost' nix. Nur zu.

Naja, ich frag ihn mal nicht. Ich wohn ja eh nicht in der Nähe, aber so was in Englisch könnte meinen Sprachkenntnissen nicht schaden.........

"Schwuchtel" war mir bisher als Übersetzung von "Dude" nicht geläufig, aber man lernt dazu.
Dude wird sich aber gewiss freuen, denn so hat er den Nick wohl auch nicht ausgelegt...:Cheese:

I can't speak German yet so I had to use Google to translate most of the conversation, it is interesting :confused: I never realized "dude" was your name on this site. By the way, thank you very much for posting it here.

It looks like I am not going to be able to find anyone but does anyone have any recommendation for good routes for riding? :(

Anyway, don't worry about the German as most of us are able to speak English. :Cheese:

Unkel is a bit too far away for me, but when I used to live in that area, I did plenty of bike rides into the hills left and right of the river Rhine and avoided the road along the river Rhine as much as possible. Be a bit adventures, you will get to know "Land und Leute". :Lachen2: You know that one?

btw, you might post your question on www.3athlon.de as well.

You should visit the websites of PSV Bonn and SSF Bonn. There should be hundreds of possible training partners. If you have problems dealing with the german language, just write an English email to those guys and ask for training hours etc. - I'm pretty sure they'll be able to understand it.

I'm often cycling through the Siebengebirge. (I live in Bonn) If you like, we can do a ride at the weekend. I don't know many routes, but some nice ones. I urgently have to discover some new ones ;)
I'm not in one of the clubs mentioned bei FuXX - so if you want a training group with some more people stick to them :cool:
