BIKE CUT-OFF
Each athlete will have 10 hours and 30 minutes to complete the swim
course, T1 and bike course regardless of when they start the swim.
Athletes will have 15 minutes to get from the swim exit, through
transition and across the bike mount line (approximately10:43
AM). The bike course will close 10 hours and 30 minutes after the
last athlete enters the water via the rolling age group wave start,
approximately 6:38 PM. Any athlete that takes longer than 10 hours
and 30 minutes to complete the swim course, T1 and bike course will
receive a DNF.

Die Ungleichbehandlung ist nicht ok.
Die (ggf.) Abweichung von den verkündeten Regeln ist nicht ok.
Die Diskussion über "WM" kann ich bei einem Schnitt von 20 km/h fürs Radfahren nur begrenzt ernst nehmen...

Es war aber eben nicht nur WM. Bei der Übertragung im HR wurde nebenbei erwähnt, dass viele Agegrouper*innen sich bereits angemeldet hatten bevor klar war, dass im Rahmen des Rennens die WM ausgetragen wird.
(Nur der Vollständigkeit halber)

In den FAQs stehen Uhrzeiten, keine "Zeiten seit individuellem Start". Es kann aber sein, dass das bei der Anmeldung noch nicht so war.
Ich empfinde das auch als unfair, aber evtl. ist der Grund, dass die Strecke nur eine begrenzte Zeit gesperrt werden konnte.

Bike
2:37pm - 1st cut off at Bike Personal Needs at Mile 55/KM 94
Bike – 5:24pm - 2nd cut off at Bike Aid Station #4 Mile 94.5/KM 152
6:38pm at T2
Run
9:53pm - 1st cut off is starting the 2nd loop at Main/Tabernacle Mile 13.2/KM 21.2
11:04pm – 2nd cut off is at Run Aid 7, mile 17.9/28.8km
17 hours after last athlete is in the water, approximately 1:08am
If an athlete does not make it to the above locations by the time listed, they will be asked to stop and forfeit their timing chip.

Any athlete that takes longer than 10 hours
and 30 minutes to complete the swim course, T1 and bike course will
receive a DNF.

Habe den Post von kienle nicht so ganz verstanden.
Er ist Corona positiv aber der PCR Test zeigt es nicht an, wahrscheinlich weil die Infektion schon abgeklungen ist... Das würde eventuell seine Leistung erklären...
