Finde ich gut, dass die Diskussion jetzt auch die Briten erreicht hat. Nur wenn man diesen Vorgang umfassend aufarbeitet, thematisiert und aufzuklären versucht (und natürlich auch entsprechende Bestrafungen vornimmt) kann man verhindern, dass sich solche schmutzigen Tricks im Triathlon etablieren und dann in Zukunft auch von anderen Nationen imitiert werden (Falls das nicht ohnehin schon der Fall ist: nicht bei jedem ITU-Rennen gibt es so eine detaillierte Videodokumentation.)

Eine solche Nachrichtensperre des Britischen Verbandes riecht für mich stark danach, dass hier die Verantwortlichen Dreck am Stecken haben (wie ich es bereits vermutet habe) und verhindern wollen, dass Interna z.B. aus der letzten Mannschaftsbesprechung nach außen gelangen.

Steht das ernsthaft so auf seiner Website?:Huhu: Muss ich gleich mal googeln und nachlesen. Das ist ja Satire vom feinsten. Der muss ziemlich schlechte Berater haben, denn wenn ein solcher Vorgang schon von der Sun aufgegriffen wird (entspricht ja von der medialen Bedeutung/Reichweite etwa der Bild-Zeitung in Deutschland) dann ist die Gefahr eines Imageschadens/ neg. Effekts auf potentielle/aktuelle Sponsoren durchaus relevant.
