so wie ich es mir schon dachte. mehr oder weniger auch die einzige möglichkeit wenn man 2 runden machen und n berg drinhaben möchte.
unsere standardrunde dort, wenn wir ne 80-90 fahren wollen.
leichter ist der anstieg von süden her. direkt von osten her am steilsten. von norden her auch eher leicht. von norden und osten her sind auf jeden fall die letzten 100-200m im ortskern ne richtige rampe.
ob der anstieg reicht um ein ironmanfeld auseinanderzuziehen, weiss ich nicht. der rest der strecke ist auf jeden fall topfeben.

really sorry my Deutsch is really poor and I don't want to misunderstand, but I need to clarify that Elbaman organizational team is totally different from IronTour.
I think that only some red-cross/security services are organized by same people because Elba is small and only very few volunteering organization take care of that.

Really "strange" that I continue to receive from athletes from all countries support for this new monster on our date, but Italian Tri Federation didn't care at all about it and supported Ironman since the beginning and nothing did for preventing that part of its assets (athletes-organizer-event) could be hardly impacted. Assets that every year pay large fees for memberships and race calendar registration and that are the main "food" for any Federation activity !
Always take care when you enter the "vote cabin" and elect who will decide for your destiny !:(

Für mich ist das Rennen interessant... das mit dem Überschneiden mit dem Elbaman ist allerdings echt richtig mies.

Das klingt nach insgesamt 700 m.

Aber selbst wenn's 2 x 700 wären: Jeder der da mitmacht, trägt zur Vernichtung des Elbaman bei!

Wer italienisch kann, kann ja vielleicht in italienischen Foren darauf aufmerksam machen, sofern das dort nicht eh schon geschieht.

Das werde ich tun, wobei ich schon in meiner direkten Trainingsumgebung relativ viel Enthusiasmus über den neuen LD IM wahrnehmen kann, insbesondere bei den Jüngeren. Bei den Älteren überwiegt derzeit Skepsis, wobei ich den genauen Hintergrund noch nicht kenne.
Aber viele derer die bereits am Elbaman teilgenommen haben, würden wohl eher wieder auf Elba starten, statt in Cervia ...
