"That's a wrap on the Vuelta Femenina! A mix of emotions - crying, smiling, suffering, being scared, but above all: learning. I more than doubled my lifetime total of kilometers ridden *in* the bunch over the last 6 days, which in itself is a huge success. I'm also (kind of...) getting used to following orders on the radio instead of doing what I want 🤓 - even if it means riding solo into a headwind before a Cat.1 and HC climb 🤯. One of the positives: I really enjoyed the time with my teammates - we are all different, but it is energizing and enriching to share the highs and lows, the fatigue, the good music, and the complaints about the hotel food 😅. Now some days of rest for me and then the racing continues at @ehitzulia on Friday!

Ihr erfolgloser Versuch, allein zur führenden Gruppe vorzustoßen, ist also nicht auf ihrem Mist gewachsen. Ohne diese Aktion wäre sie sicherlich wesentlich besser platziert in den Monster-Schlussberg gestartet und hätte wohl ein eindrucksvolleres Ergebnis abliefern können.

Hab eben mal kurz über Discovery+ reingesehen. Das Wetter ist wirklich ziemlich beschissen. Anna mit einer weiteren Fahrerin bei 22 km noch in Führung mit 25 Sekunden. Das wird sich spätestens am Anstieg der 10 km vorm Ziel beginnt erledigt haben.

Die Ladies sind auf der 2. Etappe - heute wider mein Erwarten bei deutlich freundlicherem Wetter. :)

Also ich finde, dass das heute von Anna eine der besseren Etappen war. 0:33 Rückstand und 19. Insgesamt auf 34 z.Z. Das mit dem im Feld fahren scheint ein bisschen besser zu werden.
