GCN live überträgt diese Art von Veranstaltungen nie über YouTube, von daher war das mit an Sicherheit grenzender Wahrscheinlichkeit fake. In Ländern, in denen wie z.B. in Deutschland das ZDF übertragt, kann man nur über VPN zu anderen Ländern GCN-Sendungen sehen.

Bis zu der Stelle hatte ich noch nicht geschaut.

Ich war etwas verwirrt, weil ihre 2 Kommentare hier in antichronologischer Reihenfolge stehen.

Zuerst dachte sie also, Reifenexplosion wäre die Ursache, tatsächlich war das aber wohl die Folge des Crashes, der durch Fall der Kette auf's kleine Blatt o.ä. verursacht wurde.

Vom österreichischen Radsportverband gibt's ein paar Hintergründe zum 11. Platz des Teams:

Der 3. Mann war außerplanmäßiger Ersatzmann und hatte keine Zeitfahrmaschine. Zu sehen war er wohl überhaupt nicht, weil er früh abgehängt war.

Die österreichische Zeitfahr- und Straßenmeisterin Christina Schweinberger war "immer noch leicht von einer Verkühlung angeschlagen" und ist deshalb ebenfalls schnell verloren gegangen.

Ja da muss plötzlich der Widerstand weg gewesen sein, bin mal sehr ähnlich abgeflogen als mir die Kette gerissen ist. Da gehts plötzlich ganz schnell abwärts richtung Oberrohr, will gar nicht wissen was da ohne Klicks passiert die einen dann halten

Hat sich das jemand in Zeitlupe angeschaut? Klassischer highsider ist es nicht, aber die Pedalbewegung kurz vorm Sturz schaut merkwürdig aus, das Rad wirkt als würde es sich komplett verdrehen...
