Im Usnet bei der ERGOMO User Group (http://groups.google.com/group/ergomo-users?hl=en) fand ich einen Beitrag vom 28. Juli 2009, der zumindestens für die ERGOMO-Fans unter uns aufhorchen lässt:
Subject: Re: Ergomo - reopening for business?
Hello All,
Yes, I can verify that Ergomo is VERY close to reopening for business
in Europe, and shortly thereafter here in the USA this fall.
Siegfreid, the original inventor of the Ergomo is the new company
owner
JDS Sportcoaching, llc will become the authorized Ergomo USA Service
Center, and US distributer.
Prices will be going up on new Ergomo BB sensors, so I recommend you
buy them now. When Ergomo comes out with it's warranty policy,we will
warranty any bottom brackets (and CPU's) that we sell from today
forward with that policy. At this point, we are working with
Siegfried on a two year warranty, but I can't provide details as to
what the policy will actually be.
One improvement you can expect from us and the "new" Ergomo is a high
standard of service. By having a Service Center here in the US for the
first time, we will have a service guarantee as to the time for repair
turn-around as well as a guarantee on those repairs as we have now.
Also, by having Siegfried who has great pride in his system involved,
upgrades and improvements will be seen.
Siegfried will be training our technicians on how to repair the BB
sensors. Currently, we have the skills and knowledge to repair the
wiring, but not the electronics of the sensors themselves.
We can also look forward to improved reliability from the BB
manufacturing process as well.
Ergomo components purchased from the old company will not be covered
under warranty, but prices will stay steady on current repairs done
here, and BB sensor repair will be cheaper and faster b/c it won't
involve shipping to and from Germany.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Als bekennendem Fan und Hard-Core Nutzer des Systems würde ich mich freuen, wenn das System weiter betreut und entwickelt würde.
