Ich vermute folgendes (ohne es zu wissen):
"Head-to- Head D. Ryf/R. Joyce" bedeutet Ryf 1. und Joyce 2. (somit unwahrscheinlicher als nur "Ryf 1.)
"Head-to-Head D. Ryf/Rest of field" würde dann bedeuten Ryf 1. und jemand anderes als Joyce 2.

Nein.
"What are Head-to-Head bets?
Head-to-Head bets are available for sports in which a direct comparison can be made between two starters or teams (e.g. in Formula 1). If you bet on Fernando Alonso in a Head-to-Head bet between Fernando Alonso and Kimi Räikkönen in a Formula 1 race, you win if Fernando Alonso finishes ahead of Kimi Räikkönen in the final rankings."

Also bei 2 Leuten ist das klar. Der Eine muss nur irgendwie vor dem Anderen sein.
Aber mit "Rest of field" macht das nicht so richtig Sinn.
