I'm doing the middle distance in Cologne for the first time. However, I couldn't find GPS tracks and I'm quite keen to see what's the vertical profile of the route. Has anyone stumbled upon a .gpx or the like? There surely must be one available if they use the same route every year.
At the very least, the total climb of the cycle and run legs would be of great interest.

Good luck with the final weeks of preparation!
Many thanks! Good luck to you as well!
I participated last year and tracked it with my Garmin forerunner 310xt. If you need more detailed information on top of what eNTe already posted just let me know your email adress by private message. I can then send you the gpx files of bike part and run part.
What might be interesting to know regarding running course is that there are stairs you have to go up one time each lap (two times in total). Not really evil but might be a small problem with tired legs.
